The 家庭教育权利和隐私法 (FERPA) limits the information staff members are able to release to family members about a student's educational record. FERPA does offer provisions for the University to release information to parents/guardians when a student violates the institution's alcohol or drug policies. 在这种情况下，学校将致函学生的家长/监护人. DSO will send email notifications to faculty outlining what accommodations the student is to receive in compliance with ADA regulations.
